Great notebook, difficulties with supply

This is quite very good laptop. Finger print reader operates properly and display screen is fine. Keyboard is a little bit non-regular but excellent quality all round. It is also fairly strong and performs properly with DVDs.The only main dilemma was with supply. The shipping currier, Town Url, is one of these small British isles supply firms that has not appropriate depot and struggles to provide deals. I paid added for convey shipping and I experienced to hold out lengthy time and make many mobile phone phone calls to kind the delivery out. I wish I could choose the delivery currier. It seems like Amazon is attempting to get on the inexpensive with deliveries so be mindful that it may be a problem which is not truly appropriate for the high-priced product like this one.

Received this as a alternative for a 4 12 months aged HP dv8 Pavilion with an Intel Centrino Duo processor and seventeen” display.Have been really disapointed with this later on machine. The top quality of the dv7 collection seems significanlty reduced than the dv8. The buttons on the pad are lined and it is easy to move the curser off the target even though urgent the buttons (actually annoying). Have resorted to a mouse for most of the time whilst at residence.Capture for dvd / cd push is inadequate good quality and not simple to work.Card reader: xD card has to be held in with my finger or thumb ahead of it works. It will go through an SD card without dilemma.Display is bright but is really reflective.Even with the new mid range i5 Intel processor it looks no faster, possibly owing to improved overhead of Windows seven.HP’s personal software also would seem to get inbetween Home windows seven and the consumer, slowing it down.All in all not a content knowledge.Will have to consider much far more treatment in deciding on my following substitute.
